May was a great one! The motto in the jewelry box was “We MAY or MAY not survive”. Although who are we kidding, we always strive to thrive! We had 3 major projects, not to mention lots of big personal milestones, within 31 days.

1. We kicked off the month with the “ultimate pop-up” of all pop-ups! We had 3 activations at the Formula 1, Miami Grand Prix, 3 day event . Now you may not think it’s a big deal, even according to my husband, Javier, he was like “what’s the big deal, you girls do pop-ups all the time?” But when he went to help set up, he got the point! It was 3 full days of permanent pretties, personalized shoe charms, lots of networking, and tons of laughs in the super exclusive Paddock Lounge.
Sounds glamorous? It is, but my team and I worked harrrrrd. It was a lot of labor, long hours, and hundreds and hundreds of permanent pretties and personalized shoe charms. I am perpetually humbled and so insanely grateful for the women I get to meet through this dreamy small business of mine. The women I get to connect with, work with, and make jewelry for. We did amazing at Formula 1 and sure did meet a lot of new taudrey girls! It was a dream come true to have taudrey involved in such a high-profile event.
I’m SO proud of the team for pouring in all the time, energy, creativity, and sacrifices to make the event so successful. And we sure did laugh (a lot) and have fun while doing it! My step mom, Silvia, also joined in the fun to work the weekend, and after day 1 she mentioned “ Wow, I’ve never seen a team that looks out for each other so much”. We really do care about each other, and always, always look out for one another.

2. Next up was Mother’s Day! Our second busiest season of the year. We designed and created tons of personalized pretties and did it all with a smile. I really can say, we appreciate every order, and do not take it lightly when we get the opportunity to make such important gifts with meaning. As you know, we are an all- female team, and most of us are moms, so we love the chance to celebrate women!
3. We wrapped up the month with our annual Playa Collection and Launch Party in collaboration with Kelly Saks! Playa is literally our favorite project of the year. We are good friends with Kelly Saks and the designs and collection just always flows! And we know you taudrey girls love Playa too, as it’s always our best performing collection of the year.
This year we wanted to kick off the Playa Season a little differently, so we did our first runway fashion show in partnership with Maheli Heli, a local swimwear brand. Kelly was the MC of the show and got to describe the pieces and her inspiration for this year's collection. In true taudrey fashion, we had women of all sizes, backgrounds, and walks of life in the runway show. We even had 2 very special mini models - my daughter, Siena, and Grace’s daughter, Ruby, walked the catwalk. That was definitely a highlight for me!

So there you have it! Our crazy busy and amazing month of May! Thank you to you girls, our taudrey community, that keeps us going and fuels the business. Without you, there would be no taudrey - so I am extremely grateful for that!
