About 1 in 8 women will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. That's 12% of the female population. Every 2 minutes, a woman in the U.S. is diagnosed with breast cancer. Chances are, you or someone you know will develop breast cancer and begin the arduous fight to becoming a survivor. At Taudrey, we support your battle and encourage you to stay strong and positive despite the circumstances. Throughout the month of October, we will be highlighting 5 strong women who have either personally dealt with breast cancer or have a family member who has. "I have now been a breast cancer survivor for 14 years. Coincidentally, I was diagnosed in October (BCA month) in the year 2000, and had to go into immediate surgery. Because of my unwavering faith, I knew God was by my side during this extremely difficult time. The strength and support of my children, husband, grandchildren and entire family is what gave me the courage to fight this battle with full force. After my experience, I can not emphasize enough how important it is to go for your routine checkups.
